What this policy covers

  • Who we are: Glamour, a booking platform for beauty services.
  • What we collect: Profile info, booking history, location (optional), and payment details.
  • Why: To connect you with salons, manage appointments, and improve our app.
  • Your rights: You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

2. Introduction

Welcome to Glamour ("we," "our," or "us"). We value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with applicable laws, including GDPR principles. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app and website (the "Service").

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a seamless booking experience:

  • Account Data: Phone number (login identifier), name, email (optional), and profile picture. Login is via a one-time passcode (OTP) sent through WhatsApp or SMS.
  • Business Information: Salon name, address, tax registration number (MF), and bank account details (RIB) for commission payouts.
  • Booking & managed-client data: Appointments, services, team schedules, and contact details of the clients you manage in Glamour Pro.
  • Meta connection — Instagram & WhatsApp (optional): Identifiers of your Instagram Professional account / Facebook Page and/or WhatsApp Business account, and an access token issued by Meta, when you enable message automation (see dedicated section).
  • AI-processed messages: Content of conversations processed by our AI assistant to generate or automate replies.
  • Location Data (Optional): To show your business to nearby clients (via a mapping provider). Disable it in your device settings.
  • Device Data: IP address, device type, and OS version for security and troubleshooting.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Facilitate Bookings: Receive and manage appointments (client name, phone, service requested) in your calendar.
  • Communicate: Send confirmations, reminders (push, WhatsApp/SMS), and important updates.
  • Automate your Instagram & WhatsApp messages: Manage your Instagram DMs and WhatsApp Business conversations on your behalf when you have connected your Meta account (see dedicated section).
  • AI features: Generate and automate replies via an AI processing provider, under your supervision.
  • Billing: Calculate and invoice the 10% commission on completed appointments.
  • Improve Glamour: Analyze anonymized usage trends.
  • Security: Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing

We respect your privacy. We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Clients: Essential details about your business (name, address, services, photos, reviews) are displayed publicly on the Glamour Client app to attract bookings.
  • Service Providers (sub-processors): Meta (WhatsApp OTP, Instagram/Facebook), an AI processing provider, a mapping provider, a push notification provider, a cloud storage provider, and a fallback SMS gateway. They are strictly bound by confidentiality. The complete list is available on the Sub-processors List page.
  • Legal Authorities: Only if required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as you have an active account.

  • Active Accounts: Retained to provide booking history and loyalty points.
  • Deleted Accounts: If you delete your account, we anonymize your data immediately. Some transaction records may be kept for legal/accounting purposes for up to 5 years.

7. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Access & Correction: View and edit your profile directly in the app.
  • Deletion: Request account deletion via the app settings.
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime.
  • Withdraw Consent: You can turn off location services or notifications in your device settings.

8. Reviews & Public Content

If you leave a review for a salon, your first name and review content will be visible publicly. Please do not include sensitive personal info in reviews.

9. Instagram & WhatsApp Message Automation

If you enable this feature, Glamour manages your Instagram direct messages (DMs) and WhatsApp Business conversations on your behalf.

  • Authorization: You connect your Instagram Professional account / Facebook Page and/or your WhatsApp Business account via Meta (OAuth) and grant us an access token. You may revoke this access at any time from your Meta account.
  • Data processed: Content of incoming/outgoing messages (Instagram and WhatsApp), sender identifiers (including their phone number on WhatsApp), and metadata needed to send replies.
  • Your responsibility: You are responsible for the content sent on your behalf and for compliance with Meta's rules and applicable law.
  • Security: Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared with third parties for other purposes.

Sending OTP codes via WhatsApp is a separate platform-level login feature.

10. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We use an AI processing provider to power the assistant and reply automation.

  • Messages may be sent to this provider to generate a response; it acts as a sub-processor and does not use your data to train its models under our integration.
  • AI responses may be inaccurate and do not constitute professional advice. You remain responsible for validating messages sent to your clients.
  • Human assistance remains available via support@glamour.tn.
